My Secret

It may be better to give than to receive , but it's funner to receive, sometimes.

Someone gave Lean a crappy vest and Drew an excruciatingly long and boring book about Irish History (snore).

But, someone gave me exactly what I wanted:

Here's some more history

Seriously! You are so sneaky! When did you post this? Or was it was "secret post"?
It's almost 2 AM here in Chicagoland so if you're asking yourself why am I not in bed, I'm ill. Sicky bee.

Post Secrets is my guilty, guilty. guilty, guilty pleasure.

Guilty as charged.

Jean Knee said...

I love Post Secret, and I never feel guilty about it.

Super Happy Girl said...

You know what I feel guilty about?
About that lonely piece of pumpkin pie sitting all alone on my counter.

I'm going give it company.

so thoughtful, NCS

Holy Poop! They're still virgins???

I keep hearing about this from EWL and forgetting to go check it out.

Can you believe that, jean knee. I commanded millie to go read Post Secret and she didn't obey??!!? Such insolence!!!

I happen to know that Carrot reads it too. :)

When and if I send a secret to postsecret it'll be secrety.

Hmm. Maybe I already did.

I save my fav postsecrets to disk.
Yes I do.

I had a look and found it a bit overwhelming - snippets of sometimes depressing, sometimes personal bits of stranger's inner selves.

I'm glad you got what you wanted, though.

Jean Knee said...

Brian, did you click on the link thing to my old post ? cuz that's how I felt when I first saw Post Secret. read it

Brian o vretanos said...

I did, but I only part-read it, since I was in a hurry...

That's my excuse, anyway.

We went to Hobby Lobby today and I felt.....urges....

I thought of you, of course. :)

Jean Knee said...

You didn't give into those urges did you???
It's clench or die in that place

Jean Knee said...

never thought of saving my post secret favs to disk, very interesting. how many do you think you've saved?

Jean Knee said...

Uh huh, still virgins and the person's okay with it. I bet if you asked the other half of that duo it wouldn't be okay. Nonsense

Millie said...

Maybe it's just half a guy in a wheelchair (she said un-PC-ly).

Anonymous said...

It's hard getting any lovin' when you're not a whole man.

Jean Knee said...

or maybe it's Leonardo no head with half a guy in a wheel chair-or half a girl, whichever

Anonymous said...

I'm not telling.

It's a secret you see.

Super Happy Girl said...

So how is the book?

That guy had like the greatest idea ever.

Jean Knee said...

he sure did. Iwas gonna read it slowwly, maybe ten secrets a day, but of course I plowed straight through it. They never disappoint.

I hope an exhibition comes close to us, I'm going

Super Happy Girl said...

Oooh yeah, I want to see the exhibition.
DH is not into it at all, because of the language.

I love PostSecret! What I find most amazing about it is the honesty in it--and after reading it for a little while it makes me feel that all people, under the skin, really are the same...

Makes me feel better in a sick way.

I still remember one, quite vividly, about a woman threatening to do something terrible to her mother-in-law if she said one more thing about the great deals she gets at Costco...

wynne said...

And I'm with Millie--how is it that they are still virgins? Is one of them a eunuch? Or a rabbit? Or perhaps, they are of the variety of married couples who don't quite...understand...the process? (Anyone else ever read Catch-22 and the bit in the beginning about the newly-married-couple?)

I HAVE THAT ONE!!!
That one of the secreties that I saved :)

In fact, one sec...
I'm looking at it right now.
