Okay all you experienced mom gurus out there, something has happened and I'm clueless ( all of you who thought "again?" , well something..
My daughter's hair has turned green at the ends. Uh huh she's a blond, been swimming a lot... I like the idea of living a green life but not this green.
What do I do?

It's from the chlorine in the pool, you know. The only thing I know of to do is just keep washing it. It will eventually come out. You might try some vinegar or hydrogen peroxide - that might work. I used to use that on my hair when I was a kid because I wanted to make my then-blond hair more blond. Other than that, just time, my friend, time and lots of shampoo!
Yikes. shampooing isn't doing much but the hydrogen peroxide sounds like it might thanks
update vinegar worked
Glad the vinegar worked. I wasn't sure if it would or not, just a wild guess!
My kids all have dark hair, but I got a hot tip from Annie for curly hair care. You only wash it once a week, but you use conditioner on it every day in the shower. It's helped my daughter's frizzy Fro tremendously.
I got me a polka dot letter today! I'm typing with M&M stained hands right at this very moment.
b. stands for the "best."
I don't have green hair but I do want a fro.
b. is definitely for the best
elastic have you tried that Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner for the fro? Also if my hair is frizzed from a perm or something there is help in the ethnic hair care aisle
Chris- get ya an extra tight perm at the local salon and then get one of those huge picks and voila
