Swapping Mega-Awesomeness

As many of you know I love to make crafts and then swap them. Well , I have met someone who loves it even more than I do. I can't imagine what the vastness of her craft hoard must be. She not only knows how to show the luv, baby! She even knows who I love. Check it out.

She has two of my favorite guys right in her collage creations. Yes it is Father Al and Mr. Cocka-Doodle-Doo. How'd she know?

Here's a closeup of Father Al looking dapper in a Valentine hat holding a heart of love, just for you NCS. Want to see even more? Click

You made a haul! Look at all that fun stuff! And doesn't Father Al look so sweet on that card :) I wonder if you can get carbon credits if you recycle it?

heck yeah, it was crafted on a playing card

Presumably he's the Ace of Hearts...

Does that mean that he's on Dubya's hitlist along with Osama Bin Liner?

I am overwhelmed by the talent. I am the least crafty person you'll never meet.
Speaking of crafty, do you have any suggestions for Valentines boxes for the parties at school. I have to make two, one for a first grader and for a second grader. I always see all of these kids' crafty boxes and then there's my kids non crafty boxes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Or better yet, if you could just go ahead and craft them for me and mail them to me, that would be even more greatly appreciated!

NCS- do not be sad that you don't have a Father Al valentine card. I have a special little valentine post especially for you, soon.

You know what song I have in my head? The Walrus song by the Beatles and you know why. But this is how I’m singing it:
Coo coo roo coo coo in honor of the cocks. Uh… that was meant to be single not plural. No way am I implying your Father Al is one too…

Jean Knee said...

Father Al probably doesn't even have a cock. maybe Tipper does, in the kitchen like mine

So glad you liked it! Father Al's face turned out a nice shade of spew green on the collage don't you think? Maybe it was all of the pink surroundings.....

The Walrus Song:

Is that the one that NASA are going to broadcast to space to celebrate my birthday???

I suppose this isn't an astronomy blog either ;-)

I would be very interested to know something though:

If NASA asked you to craft something to send into space for some Alien to find thousands or millions of years from now, what would you make which would help them understand us better?

Jean Knee said...

sorry this isn't a philosophical blog either but , well

I would craft something to show our dismal existence as it is, and our unending hope that our dismalness will become somehow meaningful.
Something with Brittney Spears and Al Gore , haven't worked out the details quite yet.

coo coo ca choo

Britney and Al - An excellent choice. That should put the Aliens off invading us for another few thousand years...
