Due to the grace and eloquence with which you received my bacon recipe I am doing it again. I'll probably keep doing it again and again if I get the same response. It might turn into all this blog ever has.
And now a lovely daisy cookie recipe for a Spring garden party:
1 bag flower shaped cookies
1 can frosting (white)
1 bag lemon drops
Frost flower, add lemon drop. TAAA DAAA

Jean KNEE!!! You can't be first!
I love the little daisys!
They are so prettyful :)
So, are you saying that you are going to try to make us hungry?
Like on purpose?
Those are daisies? You said bacon. I saw sunny side up eggs. I'm hungry now.
Klin: Uh oh.
Now you done it.
Yellow and white is an interesting colour combination - you need something green on the plate too, just to add some variety...
Klin you have a FAIL
Brian you are on probation
Bee, Millie, NCS an A plus
they look like eggs over easy.
...but where do you buy a bag of flower-shaped cookies?
And I could be wrong, but it looks as though you used some yellow icing around those lemondrops, and there is no mention of yellow icing in your recipe. ?
Sorry I have stayed away so long, Jean Knee. I have been inflicted with a serious case of lazy.
And I really like the inaugural pictures of the cock 'n' croc.
They're cute cookies, anyhow, but I don't think I'll ever be hosting a spring party.
So where else could I use this idea?
Must think.
I have an idea where you can use them...........
Those egg cookies look good Jean Knee!!
They are supposed to look like eggs right?
Oh wait, they're daisies aren't they?
Well, they're the prettiest little daisies!
And they look delish!!!
On a sidenote, I happen to like daisy cookies or egg cookies.
hint hint
pretty.
I totally made cookies like these when my oldest was a Daisy Girl Scout!!!!
Now she's graduated into the Daisy Duke Scouts program. She's learning how to jump into cars through the windows and how to knot her flannel shirts in the front to show her belly.
I'm feeling a bit Homemakerless. I know it's not a word but in my world it is. And in my world we don't make cute cookies like those. We buy Oreos and lick out the frosting. That's as good as it gets at my house.
With the bacon below it, I really thought the cute cookies were supposed to be sunny side up eggs until I read some of the comments...I told you I was handicapped:)
